Each summer the VA Medical Center puts on a summer sports clinic at various locations in Rhode Island. Activities include surfing, kayaking, biking, golf as well as evening activities. Each year disAbled Veterans from throughout the country gather to compete in a variety of individual and team wheelchair sports. NEPVA sponsors Member athletes to compete with and against other Veterans from around the country. This year the event will be held in New Orleans. National Veterans Wheelchair Games
