Boccia Open Play by Gaylord Sports Association
Join us for Boccia Open Play! Boccia is a throwing sport of precision which has been adapted for athletes with mild to severe physical disabilities using a few modifications. The object is to place balls closest to the target ball by throwing or rolling the ball using a ramp. Games are played one on one, in pairs, and teams of three.
All are welcome to learn this game of skill and strategy! Pre-registration is required and COVID-19 protocols will be used for all attendees and staff. Masks will be required.
There is a limit of 4 participants. There will be 2 sessions: 1:00 PM- 2:00PM and 2:30 PM – 3:30PM(This 2nd session will open when session 1 is full).
COVID precautions will be enforced and all participants will be required to wear a mask. Preregistration is required. Contact the Sports Association at 203-284-2772 or sports@gaylord.org to register.
